The 2010 event saw the cricketers level the series at 2 – 2. Despite a 9 point deficit on day 1, the cricketers led by a captains innings from Brian Lara surged to a massive 20 point victory. Notable scores saw Alan Shearer finish as top sportsman with a score of 69 points, closely followed by Dwight Yorke and Martin Bicknell on 63. The event was once again a great success and was enjoyed by 54 corporate clients, led by guests from our title sponsor, Countrywide. The weather was magnificent and all 3 courses proved a tough test. Sandbanks and Monty’s offered a perfect platform for good food and many beers not to mention the live bands each evening.

The client event was won by Mike Smedley with 66 points playing off scratch, with Rob Fenn, losing out on countback. In 3rd Place was “Big Mitch”, proving once again that heavy drinking and golf can mix as his team defended their title from last year. Nick edkins being replaced by Geoff Khan from the US of A. Texas Scramble winners on day 1 were Alan Shearer, Ian Digby and the Harris Twins from Tyneside.
